About My Massage Approach:
Madeleine Boutan, lmp, is a graduate of
the Soma
Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy in
Chicago, where she received her degree
in December of 2004. Prior to this, she was an elementary school TEACHER.
However, during her STAY IN THE classroom, she realized that her true passion lay in massage therapy, and this prompted her return to school.
Madeleine has a deep love of the clinical
setting, and counts several experiences as “highlights” of her massage education:
working with the runners of the Chicago marathon, and helping to provide a
significant therapeutic benefit to oncology patients at Northwestern Hospital. This
has prompted her specialization in trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage
WITH A therapeutic style CUSTOMIZED FOR THE INDIVIDUAL.
SHE ALSO SPECIALIZES IN PREGNANCY AND INFANT MASSAGE AND LOVES WORKING WITH WOMEN
DURING THIS WONDERFUL TIME IN THEIR LIVES.
